The anal fissure is a small cut in the lower anus (rectum), which causes difficulty in bowel movements. Bleeding, pain, or very severe pain may occur before, after, or during bowel movement. In the early years, when there is a problem of the anal fissure, there is a mild cut in the anel, which usually heals quickly but, if this cut is not cured for more days, the condition can become serious.
