Hi All,

First, http://www.indianexpress.com/news/study-finds-pesticides-in-mothers... which has details on adulteration of milk of Indian mothers capable of causing neuro-behavioral problems in infants such as disorientation, concentration problems, confusion and irritability.

Sochiye land, water aur air pollution aur food adulteration ke bare mein. Maa ke doodh se akaal bhi kum aur badan bhi kharab ho sakta hai bachpan se. Hum insaan to hai lekin kaise jahaan itne kharab issues ho gaye hai. Kaise ban gaye hum aise? Doodh se? Sochiye.

When girls, women and others in your family go to a salon and get a hair wash, do you wonder what quality water gets used? What about the towels they use?

If you're not sure then do you tell them to carry their own water and towels from home?

The salon professionals could be good, however, perhaps not the other things.

17th July 2014: Indian Maa apne doodh mein harmful chemicals test kare, shayad koi badboo based test ho jaise ki agar pani ya pipe mein kharabi hai to pani mein kharab smell aa jaati hai aur phir proper lab tests to honge hi.

Kharab maa ka doodh aise logo ko baby hone se sadana shuru kar sakte hai aur phir ye aisa bhi ban sakte hai aur aisa bhi kar sakte hai. Thanks! Best!

Indian mothers test for harmful chemicals in their milk, perhaps there's a bad smell based test like if water or pipe gets a problem then water gets a bad smell and then there'll be proper lab tests also.

Bad milk of mother can start to rot such people since they're baby and then they can become like this and also do like this. Thanks! Best!

4th May 2013: Amul finds caustic soda, urea in milk - "Generally, urea and caustic soda raise the level of fat in milk. The Amul Dairy has taken the lapse seriously and has served notice to the society," a source said. Thank You Amul for being serious! Such milk would make a nice bawarchi into suarchi by making harmful food to be eaten by humans. http://www.indianexpress.com/news/amul-finds-caustic-soda-urea-in-m...

This added on 17 Feb 2013: Lord Hanuman, Such weakness in me! Were you also made of amino acids? If so then what did you not do to my elders that we've so many extremely severe issues with food and also with water and air and land? I'm unable to have eggs since I recently read about how chickens are being grown which seems extremely harmful to humans. I'm trying to find out if those details are right or wrong and from where I can get healthy eggs. Perhaps you're upset that Gods are being offered extremely adulterated sweets and so you're also not caring for us. Hum suar nahin hai yeh to aapko bhi pata hai phir aisa kyun ki itna adulteration or pollution hai humari society aur environment mein? Maa ke doodh mein bhi adulteration ka issue aa raha hain aur logo ko pata chalne ke baad bhi woh test kara rahein hai ki nahin?

Achcha hai ki best logo ne computer, Internet, Facebook, Google+, LinkedIn, printer aur cheeze banayi hai jisse main kum se kum thode aur logo se yeh share kar sakta hun. Elders to jaise bhi ho, youth bhi kaisa banega aise adulteration aur pollution ke bad? Logo ka dimaag aur sundarta bhi bahut kharab ho sakti hai aise issues ke baad. Share karne se shayad aur log bhi behtar karenge aur behtar jeeyenge. Hum suar nahi, Hum sher nahi, Hum insaan hai!

Agar aapko pollution ke issue ke bare mein nahin malum to dekhe http://www.healthfitnessindia.com/profiles/blogs/anti-pollution-mas...

Agar aapko food adulteration ke issue ke bare mein nahin malum to dekhe http://www.healthfitnessindia.com/profiles/blogs/food-adulteration-...

This para added on 2 Feb 2013: Aapke bachche ki maa ke doodh mein kya hain? (What's in the milk of your child's mother?) Kya aap chahate hai ki aapka bachcha soche ki aapne uski maa ke doodh ke bare mein kyun nahin parvah ki (Do you wish that your child think that why you didn't care for mother's milk?) Aap kya sochte hai ki itna kharab pollution maa ke doodh ko kya kar raha hai? What do you think is the very harmful pollution doing to mother's milk? Aaj aapne iske bare mein kya kiya? What did you do today about this? Sabhi bachcho ko insaan banne ka achcha mauka mile! All children should get a good chance to become human. Jaise do strong, strong x strong ho sakte hai, waise hi do weak, weak x weak bhi ho sakte hai. Like two strong can be strong x strong, similarly two weak can be weak x weak.

Today a gym trainer asked me whether I was married. I told him that I'm not interested (meaning that I'm not actively looking for a spouse like how people do including the trainer who mentioned that he wants to get married by some period). Also, this doesn't mean that I couldn't later depending on the person! He related marrying to being an Indian. I told him that I thought that such thoughts would be more in tier 2 and 3 cities and that not in a top gym in Delhi. I also told him that people who do the many cultural things can still be very negative. He and I agreed that what we can do is to be nice. I asked him whether he has run a gym on which he said that some discussion is going on. I told him that I know a top gym that wants to grow from one to several outlets and that based on the several inputs that I've given to this gym's owner, the gym owner is willing to hire a CEO to run his gym. He thanked me for sharing the same and that I wish the best for him and also for getting a CEO for this gym.

When I got off Vaishali metro station, I got an auto rickshaw who yelled at a manual rickshaw because he wasn't driving properly with some passengers on it. I told him that there're so many Indian street dogs and that like how people have gotten used to them by going around them however they can, it's the same how this person might be driving the manual rickshaw. Then I thought on whether the milk of Indian mothers and of mothers in other parts of the world would be more, equally, or less adulterated than the milk of cows used to make the best chocolates. I also thought on what would be the relative adulteration in the milk of mothers in the different parts of the world and that how much it depends on how the majority of people are in the different parts of the world. I wish that there can be milk testers for mothers at gyms, fitness centers, clinics, and other places including because I've read that their milk is getting more and more adulterated which also leads to mental and physical problems in people from birth. This should also help to make the majority of people realize that they've to make efforts towards reducing and stopping problems that would be leading the milk of mothers to become adulterated. It's highly unfortunate that there're so many Indian street dogs while the Indian forest tigers are near extinction. I wouldn't suggest it but I had seen an Indian tiger at a short distance away and that I was in an open jeep and that the tiger was sitting in open and that we didn't have any weapons for protection. From that experience and from readings and videos on tigers, I think that it would be great to have at least enough Indian forest tigers and none or almost none Indian street dogs.

A conversation with someone which might also help realize more about issues/challenges/thinking of an Indian woman (getting raped, pushed/put down etc.):

My email to this person:

Hello Namrata,

It has been nice to know you personally and that I would've really liked to assist you in your job search, however, due to some incidence with a third person, I wouldn't be able to interact with you further professionally and that I would also keep our personal interaction to the minimum possible. I apologize for any inconveniences caused.

All the Best!
Shakti Saran

My next email to this person:

Hi Namrata,

I'm glad that all this happened sooner than later given how you've responded. However, I'm unsure what you understood by my previous message based on this SMS that I received from you:

Hi , Are you insane ? What non sense email have you send it to me ? Disgust .listen you were d one who initiated tak , and moreover have you ever seen urself in d mirror . Leave all why would I call you? , u said u own placement consultancy that is why I frwd my CV as u requested me to do so. Sick yaar . Bye

Also, I had told you that I can help you if you like. Did I say that I request you to send me your CV? Did I charge a fees from you? Did I sign a formal agreement with you? It was personal help for you, however, due to some reason I wrote to you the last message. Perhaps, due to negative experiences, you made up your own understanding of my last message and that then responded which is unfortunate for you but I still wish you all the best.

Best,

Puja Batra 50 is middle aged in this day and age, not elderly. someone who is 50 in India will continue working-- whether in a job, or in the home, for another 20 years. This is certainly true of the urban middle and upper classes. Seriously, it's a good thing that people on the metro don't look at them and consider them to look feeble and aged!

Shakti Saran Hi Puja Batra, Perhaps you're seeing those people who you want to see and not those who I'm talking about. If so then I'm unsure why you're having this conversation with me because it's about the people who I'm talking about. And yes, I do think that they're above middle-age (I consider 35-50 as middle age in India given the health condition of Indian people in general.) Otherwise, I've personally known people who've been active and also contributing to society in 80s and also in 90s. I'm sure there would be some people in India like that also, however, it seems to me that that percentage out of the total population would be very small to consider it the norm. I do wish that the future is better and that I wish that my efforts would also contribute to the same. I also realize that many-a-times I only waste time discussing with people in India related to such things, however, I still do it because I might even be able to make a positive difference. This morning I was thinking that what Indian people in recent history have contributed to the world in terms of research and development, health and fitness, or even charity and that I wish that as more and more Indian people contribute for longer terms, we'll contribute more and more including to the world! A lady seeming to be above 50 asked a man of much lesser age to move from ladies seat. He shifted and gave her half of the seat. She was a big sized woman and seemed really uncomfortable. I got up and made her sit. I asked her why she didn't ask him to get up on which she said that she did. I told her that she had to ask him to get up when he moved to the side. I asked her what she would say next time on which she blushed. Then my stop came and I left.

There're Indian forest tigers and elephants and also Indian street dogs and pigs. Unfortunately, there're also a lot of Indian street animals. What're the qualities and nature of each in order to provide them value as best as possible? We should also keep learning from nature. Moreover, recruitment and education companies have increasing responsibilities since Indian mother's milk is getting adulterated and that which could lead to mental and physical issues in Indian people since babies. I wish that we can contribute like the best.

Today, I was listening to a radio show while walking in which they were discussing about Indian government initiatives for pregnant mothers. I just searched online on the same and that I'm sharing the related link and its contents here:

http://pib.nic.in/newsite/erelease.aspx?relid=72433

Health Ministry Launches Janani-Shishu Suraksha Karyakram JSSK to Benefit more than one Crore Pregnant Women & Newborns

The UPA Chairperson Smt Sonia Gandhi today launched the national initiative of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India – the Janani –Shishu Suraksha Karyakram (JSSK). Addressing the gathering near Al-Afia Hospital, Mandi Khera, District Mewat in Haryana, Smt Gandhi noted that tremendous improvement in health care services has occurred under the initiative of National Rural health Mission started since 2005 and the new initiative of Janani –Shishu Suraksha Karyakram is but a step further in ensuring better facilities for women and child health services. She hoped that States would come forward and ensure that benefits under JSSK would reach every needy pregnant woman coming to government institutional facility.

The new initiative of JSSK would provide completely free and cashless services to pregnant women including normal deliveries and caesarean operations and sick new born (up to 30 days after birth) in Government health institutions in both rural and urban areas. The new JSSK initiative is estimated to benefit more than one crore pregnant women & newborns who access public health institutions every year in both urban & rural areas.

The Free Entitlements under JSSK would include: Free and Cashless Delivery, Free C-Section, Free treatment of sick-new-born up to 30 days, Exemption from User Charges, Free Drugs and Consumables, Free Diagnostics, Free Diet during stay in the health institutions – 3 days in case of normal delivery and 7 days in case of caesarean section, Free Provision of Blood, Free Transport from Home to Health Institutions, Free Transport between facilities in case of referral as also Drop Back from Institutions to home after 48hrs stay. Free Entitlements for Sick newborns till 30 days after birth similarly include Free treatment, Free drugs and consumables, Free diagnostics, Free provision of blood, Exemption from user charges, Free Transport from Home to Health Institutions, Free Transport between facilities in case of referral and Free drop Back from Institutions to home.

Speaking on the occasion the Union Health and Family Welfare Minister Sh Ghulam Nabi Azad stated that the number of institutional deliveries, a key determinant of maternal mortality, has increased from seven lakhs (2005-06) to more than a crore (2010-11). One of the significant activities for saving the lives of the mother and also the infant is provision of quality ante-natal and post-natal services, he noted. The Minister informed that more than Rs 1100 crores have been provided to the States for drugs, diet and ambulances under NRHM during 2011-12. He asked the States to widely publicize the new JSSK entitlements, display them prominently in all Government facilities, put entitlements in public domain, and institute a grievance redressal mechanism for ensuring that the commitments are fulfilled in letter and spirit.

JSSK supplements the cash assistance given to a pregnant woman under Janani Suraksha Yojana and is aimed at mitigating the burden of out of pocket expenses incurred by pregnant women and sick newborns. Besides it would be a major factor in enhancing access to public health institutions and help bring down the Maternal Mortality and Infant mortality rates. Presently it is noted that, out of pocket expenses and user charges for transport, admission, diagnostic tests, medicines and consumables, caesarean operation are being incurred by pregnant women and their families even in the case of institutional deliveries.

Today I had a highly unfortunate experience. It makes more sense why there's little greatness from India given that humans are capable in general. Today I had a personal training session and that rather than leaving after some cardio after the session, I worked out by myself for another hour or so. Before leaving, I went to my trainer to thank him and that he was giving personal training to a girl having a very small and seemingly weak physique compared to most other women clients in the gym. She was doing triceps extension using the machine. When she finished her routine, I said that it was nice the effort that she put into her routine on which another trainer there who's a physiotherapist said that even he doesn't lift so much weight. She's most likely one third the size of him and that has a very small and seemingly weak physique. I told the physiotherapist that she's trying to give her best and that he's talking to her like that which felt sarcastic to me perhaps also meant towards the personal trainer who to me seems to give his best and that he's also nice at what he does.

I also keep sharing for my personal trainer what I can. During today's training session, I had told him about TRX and that he could get and train using a portable TRX kit and that also use it for his home personal training sessions. I told him that I would request a friend to send two of those from USA since the things that're very expensive here or that might not even be sold here in general are even sold on discount there and that we would pay my friend for the same. He asked me whether I could get protein from USA because it's very expensive here which if you don't know can be twice the price in USA and that there're also many discounts there. I felt very upset for him when he said that which might also be the reason that several fitness professionals here aren't able to maximize their potential. I told him that getting protein from there to here has the issue that those boxes could be partly or fully exchanged with fake amounts of protein on the way given so much fraud here even if my friend could ship them by we paying for them.

I remembered what someone who has lived in India, Europe, USA and perhaps more places once told me during college years that the girls of Indian origin born in USA seem to have a much nicer skin and physique than the girls in India because of the nutrition and the environment. He was probably generalizing based on his experiences, however, there's a lot of value to what he had shared with me. Now, things like top quality supplements are also coming in India, however, to a very small minority and that even with top quality supplements in box, the environment including in the top cities of India where several people can purchase the very expensive supplements is extremely polluted and a lot of the regular food for several people in such cities is most likely adulterated to very adulaterated and that I do think that our health and fitness depends a lot also on regular food and environment and that just not on exercising and boxed supplements. Given all the issues that women in India go through, it seems that this has happened over the decades. Perhaps when our forefathers couldn't go to fun places because they and dogs weren't allowed then they perhaps took out the frustration on the women and that now measures are being taken to reduce such acts on women in India which would even be consider irrational in other parts of the world.

In India, average height in males dropped at a rate of almost 2 centimeters per century in the decades following colonialism...When these small babies gain weight in childhood, though, it stresses their smaller organs, such as the pancreas and heart, making them more susceptible to obesity, diabetes, and heart disease. This is the case in south India today, where many people have thrifty phenotypes with less muscle and more fat per body size. Yet they are shifting rapidly to a high-fat, high-sugar diet. As a result, India risks becoming the diabetes capital of the world. http://mindblog.dericbownds.net/2010/01/we-are-what-our-ancestors-d...

Today a member at gym had watched me do heavy enough weights for legs and shoulders thankfully due to the valuable assistance of my personal trainer. After finishing the personal training session, I had done martial arts based exercises and practice for around another hour about which I've mentioned above and that I was going hard at it. The person asked me that I would be getting 12 hours of sleep to have this much energy on which I told him that I've been getting 6 hours or less of sleep due to the several things I do. I did tell him that I do want to get longer sleep and that I wish that I would soon. I also told him that I used to have a lot more energy during college years. I haven't been able to breathe as well during the past years like I used to during college years I think due to heavy pollution around me which I think has also impacted my energy and other things. I've known this person since last year and that he's now finishing his undergrad course in Computer Science and that he has asked me several times related to it and that since I think that he's serious about learning, I've given him short to long durations of time sharing with him even though I've had several other things to do. I wish him best since it seems to me that he tries to do things positively and that recently I had also shared with him to create a routine if he wants to measure his fitness improvement. He had also shared about some progress in fitness that he has made which was nice.

When I was in college, I remember a martial arts friend who called me a machine for years. After several years of martial arts, my then 6th degree Shaolin Master (who's now 8th degree Senior Master) said in a class having several much senior students that Shakti is like me. I'm unsure how many people he would've said that to. I would think not many or else this wouldn't be worth saying and that in front of such an audience. I don't like to fight and that I don't like doing competitive fighting and so he wouldn't have meant in terms of fighting and that I don't want to assume why he said that extremely motivating thing, however, that has kept motivating me to continue learning and practicing Shaolin and martial arts in general even though I've been away from any formal instruction for over six years now. This year I'm trying to improve fitness overall and that from sometime next year I should start iron bone conditioning since a friend in USA has told me that he would visit me next year and that he would get me things including medication required for it and that he would also train me properly in it since I've done very little iron bone conditioning before. I think that for me martial arts will be a lifelong journey and I do wish that I can keep learning and practicing it including with the best of people in the world. In this regard, I've also started the Health and Fitness India network www.healthfitnessindia.com and that I would keep investing into it as best possible including for the world.

Someone just told mom that if he doesn't do well then he'll have the same problems in USA like he'll have in India. A short while before that, he had said that given his age (around my age in numbers), now he doesn't want to go abroad like he used to before when mom had mentioned about a doctor cousin who's trying to go to the States for higher education by studying a lot and giving exams. A short while before that, he had said that what can one do because people have to eat when mom had asked him from where she can get milk tested since there's so much adulteration. I feel very unfortunate when people here don't realize the difference between these places that the food adulteration and many other issues in India don't seem to be decreasing but increasing.
